I would be interested in helping to port DENG to ActionScript 3. I am interested in being part of a standards based framework for Flash. Shoot me an email and let me know what I can do.

Hi Claus,

Interesting, that really looks like XForms, even it it is pseudo-code :). I am not familiar with ColdFusion either, so I am wondering how that fits in the ColdFusion picture. But nevertheless, it is cool to see more adoption for XForms.

Alessandro, i found this:
http://livedocs.macromedia.com/coldfusion/7/htmldocs/00001417.htm
I'm not very familiar with Coldfusion, but i think they're using XSLT to transform XForms to HTML markup, so if you're able to tell coldfusion to skip that transformation step, i guess you'll get plain XForms. But as i said, i'm not familiar with it, so i can't say for sure.

I am intrigued by your comment that ColdFusion is using XForms under the hood. I am looking at one of their page [1] and the markup does not look like XForms. Will a future version of ColdFusion use XForms? Did you see any source that confirms this?

Hi Claus,

you've got my attention. I'd love to help you writing and maintaining the framework; but I can only spend time and sadly no $$.
As soon as you are ready to start the project drop me a mail. ;)

Greetings,
Simon
